How it works
- 01
Type your text in one of 31 fonts, including Arabic fonts, or upload an SVG or image.
- 02
Set the size, walls and depth, and choose a flush cap, recessed face, wrap-around or open channel.
- 03
Pick your LED strip: areas too narrow for it are flagged, and power, weight and cost are estimated.
- 04
Download body and lid STL, laser-ready DXF for the face and back, and an SVG outline.

Questions
Which files can I upload?
SVG gives the most accurate result and is read as vectors. PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images are traced automatically, with controls for threshold, smoothing and detail.
Which lid style should I choose?
Flush cap is the easiest to print and assemble. Recessed face gives the classic channel-letter look with a visible rim. Wrap-around makes the edges glow too. Open channel leaves the top open for neon flex or exposed LEDs.
How do I get an even glow?
Use a white lid printed at 100% infill, about 1–2 mm thick, and give the light room to spread: deeper letters glow more evenly. COB strips give the smoothest result in shallow letters.
My sign is bigger than my printer.
Every letter is a separate part and is also saved as its own STL, so most signs print plate by plate. You see a warning when a single letter does not fit your bed.
Is my artwork uploaded?
No. Your file is traced in your browser and never leaves your device. When you download, only the finished letter outlines and your settings are sent to build the print files.
Is it free?
Sign in with Google or your email address to get a free monthly download allowance, shared by every Volucore tool. Each file uses one download; the PNG render is free.
