Using Volucore

Volucore provides tools for creating models for 3D printing. Sign in with your own Google account or your own email address, and provide accurate account information. Each person may have one Free account. New accounts cannot be created through a VPN, proxy or hosting network, or with a temporary email address.

Plans and download allowance

Your plan and remaining downloads are shown on your account page. The Free plan includes 5 downloads each calendar month, renewing on the first day of the month at 00:00 UTC. Paid plans include 30 (Standard), 50 (Business) or 80 (Business Pro) downloads a month, renewing every month from the day you subscribed, including on yearly billing. Unused downloads do not carry over.

Each completed file uses one download, including a ZIP containing several parts. Failed generations release their reservation; an interrupted request can take up to five minutes to release.

Creating additional accounts to bypass the allowance is not permitted. A new Free account sharing a previously registered network may have downloads held for 30 days. The administrator can review and lift a hold where different people share a connection.

Paid plans

Plan prices include sales tax or VAT; Paddle works out the tax for your country and shows the total before you pay. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all orders and handles payment, billing enquiries and returns.

Plans through Patreon. You can also get a plan by joining our Patreon at the same monthly price as a plan and linking your Patreon account in Account settings. Your plan follows your Patreon membership: it starts once Patreon confirms a paid pledge, lasts while the membership stays active and paid, and ends when you cancel on Patreon, a payment fails, or you unlink the account. Patreon is the seller of those memberships and handles their payment, tax, billing and refunds under its own terms; the cancellation and refund policy below does not replace them. One Patreon account can be linked to one Volucore account at a time. If you also pay through Paddle, the higher of the two plans applies; they do not add up.

Upgrades take effect at once and are charged pro rata for the rest of your billing period. Downgrades keep your current plan until the period you paid for ends, then renew at the lower price; a yearly plan can move to monthly billing at renewal. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal payment fails, your account returns to the Free plan until the payment succeeds. Using what you print

Selling items printed from Volucore files requires an active Business or Business Pro plan while you sell them. Free and Standard are for personal, non-commercial use. From September 19, 2026, this applies to every file, including files downloaded earlier.

The built-in fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License or the Apache License, which allow printed products to be sold. If you upload a logo, artwork or font, make sure you have the right to use it.

Your designs

Check the dimensions, materials, printer settings and movement clearances before printing. Test a short model first. Printing results depend on your machine and setup.

The tools and their code

The Volucore tools, including their editors, source and compiled code, generation methods, interface and page content, belong to Volucore or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Your account lets you use them on volucore.net; it does not give you a copy of them. The built-in fonts keep their own open licences.

You may not copy, download, extract, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the tools or their code, run copies of them outside volucore.net, publish or share them, or use scripts or other automated means to extract them or to produce files without using your download allowance. Accounts that do so may be suspended, and published copies will be reported to their host for removal under copyright law, for example with a DMCA takedown notice.

Service access

Do not attempt to bypass account restrictions, disrupt the service or access someone else’s account. The administrator may suspend accounts, adjust allowances or temporarily disable a tool for maintenance.
